And then speaks about the beginning of his career, going for it all: "This way or no way". Mere minutes ahead of the UK premiere of David Bowies new single Lazarus on BBC Radio 6. He talks about his fear of dying, and of being drugged mindless because of his cancer: "I'm so high it makes my brain whirl". LAZARUS LYRICS IN FULL Ive got drama, cant be stolen. Knowing he will pass away soon, and daring to write a song about it, he places it in the perspective of death: "Look up here, I'm in heaven". It's illustrated in the official video, with him hovering above the hospital bed (like people often describe their near death experiences) at the beginning and disappearing backwards into the closet at the end.
