![]() ![]() I am not the kind of guy who normally would need instructions to set up a clock, but trust me when I say you will have to review and save the instructions for this thing. Now it is nothing wildly complicated, but this is not a clock for the technologically incompetent. Setting it all up turns out to be a bit fiddly. ![]() Those buttons have a lot of functions packed into them, some of which are fairly intuitive and some of which are not. This design would be greatly improved if the battery compartment / setting buttons were on the bottom, with a discrete USB plug on the side.Īs for the controls, there are three buttons - set, up and down. So this is a clock best placed where you can't see the back of it. Unlike the front, the back of the triangle is just ugly and kind of cheap looking, with a huge black plastic battery compartment and the very basic, small control buttons taking up most of the back, along with the place to plug it in. The controls, the back, and the proprietary USB cable. Both the temp and humidity readings appear to be reasonably accurate. You can adjust the brightness and it shows temp and humidity along with the time. From the front and the sides it looks VERY good. ![]() It is a cool look with the numbers seeming to shine through the wood. Now the wood look is, of course, fake, but it is a very convincing fake. I have two of these - one black and one bamboo, and they both look very good with the white display. These are nice clocks for a desk or pretty well anywhere where you want something that looks noticeably better than the usual, utilitarian digital clock.
